How much does Streaming pay?

The actual amount you get paid per stream will vary greatly depending on the Streaming service, whether the listener who streamed the song was a paid subscriber or a free subscriber, any agreements in place between the Streaming service and Record Labels that may affect the payout pool, the country the listener was from, and most importantly, the amount of the payout pool compared to the the total number of streams on the particular streaming platform. The following pay for streaming estimates are based on compiled user supplied data. We cannot guarantee the numbers and only offer them as our best estimate.
The lowest amount of payment per stream would represent virtually all free song streaming subscriptions. The highest payment per stream would represent a high amount of paid subscribers. These are the lowest and highest payments per song stream reported for each of the Streaming Services. The majority of the streaming payments fell in between these two numbers.

How do you get your music on streaming services?

How do you get your music on streaming platforms you ask? You require the services of a Digital Music Aggregator, also called a Digital Music Distributor. The Music Aggregator will digitize your songs and submit them to the various Music Streaming Services and Music Streaming Stores. Most of the stores will allow people to stream your songs and / or purchase your music tracks. The money they pay per stream or download is paid to your Digital Music Distributor, on your behalf. There is a fairly large list of Music Distributors / Aggregators out there now. All of  the Aggregators have different pricing formulas that they charge you for the legwork they do to collect your song streaming royalties. We have assembled a good list of them on our distribution page on this website.   DISTRIBUTION
